Nathan Ross

Sio, Dennis, Ross, Levi. Aren’t players wanting out. Ayoub came out and publicly said Sio wants to stay, Ross has been shopped around for ages, Levi chucks his toys out of the cot every time we speak to another hooker, obviously wants the starting role at Newcastle?? And Dennis is on the fringe of cracking first grade of course he’s asking for a release.

When Pearce, Guerra, Ponga, Fitz, come out and bag the club saying they want out then you have a point.

Ramien leaving to come to the club and hasn’t tired to backflip.

Billy if you had it your way Rick Stone would still be here and You would have signed Sio and Ross to 500k a season.

Levi is pissed off because we bought someone better than him and Griffin showed it at Maitland and every game since . He took his test spot because he is better than Levi , Brown saw straight away that Griffin was better and so did the Kiwi selectors .
IMO Levi is not quite there yet as a 80 min 1st grade hooker , Griffin on the other hand was ready to be an 80 minute 1st grade hooker before he came here .
Ross I have had enough of he can just GO and the sooner the better ...Dennis I would have liked to keep for a wing spot maybe but he wants more cash so good luck to him .
Sio is an ok winger but that's about it when was the last time he broke the line and ran 50 or 60 to score ...He can go too …
Imo Brown is still getting rid of the crap and will and is replacing them with better players ...Go Browny love the way your doing things...

5 is easy.
Sio, Denniss, Lamb, Ross and Levi are all guys the club offered a spot to or are under contract who are all looking elsewhere.
The list of guys the club has tried to sign for next year who knocked us back is too long for me to type - I'm only a 2 finger typer.

You should be happy they “all want out” and help them out the door if you want this club to be successful. Not b*tch and moan that the club is getting worse. Shouldn’t be losing any sleep over any of those players.

A man wanting to leave his wife because he is unhappy in the relationship, is completely different to a man having to leave the relationship because the wife has turfed him!
I don't see many sheila's lining up to get something on with our band of abandoned husbands, not locally anyway!
I say good choice wifey! Hopefully she can hook up with a couple of big studs!:dude::applause::cheer:

Yeah, I can vouch that until you get yourself back in shape after a divorce there isn't exactly a waiting list for your services. You may get lucky if you lower your expectations or standards and score something out of pity. When you're past your prime you tend to swipe right on just about any deal.

A bit of a fling in the ESL should see many dumped players regain their mojo (Barba is a good example)

REPORTS: Ross could head overseas
Huddersfield have put a big offer in front of Nathan Ross.

Newcastle outside back Nathan Ross could be on his way to the Super League, after a big offer from Huddersfield in England.

Ross is currently contracted until the end of 2020 at the Knights, although WWOS understand Newcastle are keen to see him exit the club after landing Edrick Lee, Jesse Ramien and Hymel Hunt for the 2019 campaign.

The 30-year-old has been a fan favourite at the Knights during his four years at the club, and has 23 tries and 60 appearances to his name.

Ross is interested in seeing out his contract and trying to win back the support of the Newcastle hierarchy, but may eventually fall victim to the Giants’ grand offer.

Huddersfield coach Simon Woolford wants to get the deal done, although Ross will remain a Knight for the time being.

Pretty hard to turn down a big offer but he seemed to want to stay regardless previously.

Maybe he has done some thinking and will take this one. Cant imagine huddersfield would have kept negotiating with Ross manager if the answer was a flat no last time.

I expect Ross will go this time.

I said it in another thread but the smart move for him is to take a longer deal elsewhere otherwise his top flight league career is more than likely over after this year if he's playing park football all season.

Shame because he's a fan favourite and a shining light through the tough years, would have been good to see him on the end of a quality backline with the forwards killing it, but it seems not to be. Will probably end up back at the club someday in some capacity.

LEAGUE'S FASTEST MAN EYES COMEBACK

The fastest man in league won’t be playing the game in 2019 - but look out when he does pull on the boots again - probably in 2020.

Speedster Sam Ross - younger brother of Knights star Nathan ‘The Rossdog’ - was in the Storm system two years ago but decided to concentrate on surf lifesaving.

He shone for Kurrawa Surf Club in the recent World Lifesaving Championships, starring as the beach relay team won the world title.

The 21-year-old winger makes Nathan look like a slouch and will look to return to league in the next 18 months or so.
