I was at the game the atmosphere was great the boys looked a bit underdone in the first half but came back great , those stupid refs didn't help the Titans were offside all bloody game and there was a couple of stupid bullsnip calls against us ...isn't it good to be in the contest and still putting in with 20 , 15 , and 10 to go last season we threw so many games away in that period .

Watson looks dangerous every time he handles the ball , Pearce kicks the ball a mile when going for the touch line Cogger and Lamb kick for 10 mts Pearce kicks for 40 its a huge difference and I haven't seen Lamb or Cogger run the ball like Watson does at all ...Oh and Daniel has that mongrel going and its pretty to watch lol.

How about that Levi guy eh, another quality performance.
Makes me think what I said about Levi getting the NZ jumper ahead of griffin if he was given a fair shot at first grade was spot on. But apparently he was sulking and chucking tanties.
Only blemish I really found from his game was right at the end when he went for the hero move and tried to dive over. He had pearce standing short side ready to punt the ball in to touch and wind out the clock on the scrum. Instead Levi tried to dive over on the last and gave the ball back to them with 15 left on the clock.
Not sure why we insist on making these games so difficult for ourselves. A few bad calls against us, a few lucky tries and some stupid decisions made the game a lot more difficult than they needed to be.

I don't know if it was our guys or their guys, but you could hear people calling field goal over and over - either way, Pearce was going to get rushed if he got the ball, so Levi did what no one was expecting. It wasn't a bad idea - just didn't work.

No, it was a bad idea.
Pearce wasn't anywhere near the middle of the field and nowhere near a position to attempt a field goal no matter how much the fans were screaming it.
He was in position to get the ball about 5m in from touch and belt the ball over the sideline, exactly what he should be doing in that situation.

Yep, it’s pearces job to kill that game. I’m all about backing yourself but you have to know when. Your half gets the ball every time in that situation.

Scary to think we nearly lost Levi because Brown refused to even use him on the bench for the first 7 games.
Billy isn't wrong about Watson, he's not a playmaker, but he's certainly finding his spot in the team. He's basically playing fullback while Ponga will play 5/8 in attack.
