Title says it all pretty much, would have been good to have them in training though. Hopefully the trip to USA isn’t too taxing

Denver is a high altitude venue, so the boys will have a very tough weekend.
Timana Tahu might be someone they can talk to about handling the conditions. Tahu spent some off seasons there, training at altitude, and he even played for Denver in the US national Union comp a few years ago.
I seem to remember he took Rochow and Sims there during an off season too.

Luke is the guy keeping Levi out.
If Luke were still in poor form, both Griffin and Levi would probably be there.

Griffin is just to good for Levi to be picked for us or NZ I am a Levi fan but Griffin has it all over him in every aspect of the game and he can play 80 minutes ...I know people don't like it said because Levi is a fan favourite but in all honesty Griffin is better than Levi ...

Levi has it over griffin in darting from dummy half, Levi is just better at it, and speed of passing from the play the ball.

Otherwise it is Griffin in all other areas.

Not true.
Griffin has very little vision and playmaking ability. He is very predictable because he doesn't read the play.
Levi is always scheming away and looking for someone not marking correctly or out of place and looking to exploit that.
In his time in reserve grade he was getting try assists nearly every game - 7 try assists and 6 line break assists in 7 games. He now has 2 try assists and 2 line break assists in firstgrade this year.
Griffin has 1 try assist and 1 linebreak assist in 15 games.
Levi is far more likely to throw a cut out pass or switch the play and do something unexpected as well.
Griffin is the better defender, although Levi is also very good.
Griffin has the bigger motor and is a better utility.
Levi is the better dummy half in every aspect of dummy half play.

I would like to see both in the game to start and this week is a good opportunity, Levi 9, Griff 13, give Levi a break 10-15 before and after Half time using bench to cover 13 means Guerra back to 2nd row with Fitz or Barnett.

I like the sounds of that plan. Probs mean we can use Barnett of the bench for aggression and spark. I believe our weakest point this season is the bench just no impact unlike other teams have.

Harsh, not like Levi has had much of a shot at hooker all year. From the Maitland trial it was clear Brown was going to favour Griffin, and it has been that way all season.

Well for the people on here that think Levi is better than Griffin our coach and the NZ coach disagree with you and me too I haven't seen a game this season where Levi has been better in any part of the game ...It doesn't matter how good Levi is in reserve's heaps of guys are great in reserve's but its that big step up to 1st grade that shows them up and that has happened to Levi this season imo ...

Wow just wow..........Levi can more then handle himself. If I'm 100% honest. I don't think Griffin does 80 minutes of hooker well. You first point of attack starts at hooker. Look at Josh hodgson. The way that guy plays the game is unreal. From the 1st to the 80th he is dangerous. Slade isn't. His predictable as @Billy has said numerous times. This is where Levi shines in the fact his looking for opportunities rather then just letting the halves do all the work like slade does.

What crap, Levi was very good last season in 1st grade so there goes the step up to NRL standard argument.

Griffin is in the team as it suits Browns game plan better, end of story. Levi is better in areas, Griffin is better in other areas.

But to say Levi has been ordinary is a laugh. I'd wager if Levi and Griffin got equal game time at hooker, the NZ selectors would be choosing Levi.

But Brown has kept him down in favour of Griffin, so NZ do not have a lot of options to select Levi from reserves ahead of the player at the same club playing NRL.
