I agree make him a good offer. We need a quality outside back and a goal kicker.

His profile says f/back and winger he wont be playing f/back and would rather not throw big money at a winger we learnt our lesson with Uate there .
 
He’s a quality fullback and is just biding his time for grandpa Boyd to call it quits. He would do a job as a centre though I think. I’d happily offer him $500k a year to partner Ramien
 
Not a bad idea but the thoroughbreds will take care of things here nothing to see. Realistically if thy are upgrading Lodge and Pangai maybe Oates or whoever there's no way they should be able to keep them all
 
Yeah but they will, because players sign for less to play under Wayne and blah blah blah ZZZzzzzzzzz.

After the first time i seen thus kid my first thought was he would be hased hard by the QLD reds and be a superstar in Union.
Id be very suprised if that doesnt happen by 2020 anyway.
The boot and power he has is ideal for union
 
got to remember when signing players for future what we have coming through I think we have two quality outside backs coming through at least that might not be ready now but 12 to 18 months down track will be

How many juniors become regular nrl players?

I seriously cannot see Boyd lasting the length of that contract and he is one year into it. It will be a Mark Gasnier like retirement although I am surprised they signed him for that long considering no one else would sign him.
 
I said this in another thread we should target him

Broncos are flat out upgrading TPJ, Lodge, Haas, Sims (might get let go) etc plus they need to keep some money in the tank for a Halfback, Isaako is definitely a realistic target for us.

The fact he is a goal kicker and a very good one makes spending a bit more cash on him worth it considering Lamb is the only decent kicker at the club and is likely to spend next season in reggies or at another club.

IMO an outside back who can kick should be our No.2 priority signing behind another prop
 
Trouble is from most reports this guy wants to play F/B and i bet he wont sign anywhere that he wont get to play there ...He wont sign somewhere else just to play on the wing and he wont get the F/B spot here ...
