2018 Test Series: Australia vs South Africa

I'm not sure how they came to that decision as the rules are clear and it's irrelevant how much contact was made

Rabada yelled, screamed and walked straight towards Smith

Anyway it's done now, Looking forward to the game

ICC Code of Conduct - Law 2.2.7 (Level 2 Offences)

Inappropriate and deliberate physical contact with a Player, Player Support Personnel or any other Person (including a spectator) in the course of play during an International Match.

I am amazed Smith was not asked to give evidence, he said Rabada hit him harder than it looked.

Rabada was looking at Smith when he touched him and he made no attempt to avoid contact. It is clear Rabada meant to make contact with Smith.

End of day was ok, agreed need to finish them quick and then bat very well, didn't watch it but going on overs and wickets assume turnaround was due to ball reversing. Need two bats to get ton or all to contribute 50+, batsmen that is will take whatever our tail contributes, usually pretty good

Australia trail by 244 runs with 8 wickets in hand

Trail by 66 with 9 wickets down. Not good. Can't see the point of of run rate over 5 when batting, particularly the spine, seem intent to throw wickets away for fast runs. This ain't T20 guys.

The test format is dead. Its a shame but the shorter formats of the game are more enjoyable to watch. Just the way the world is going.

Embarrassing from our top order and middle order once again with the exception of Bancroft, Lyon and Paine

How we have reached 245 is beyond me, When I went to work we were 8/170 or something

It will take something very special from our bowlers to keep us in this game
