Out of left field, the Saifiti boys seem to be the sort of people who could do this.
They are intelligent, self motivated, well spoken, and natural leaders on the field.
They also seem to be very loyal to the club - too loyal for their own good even - because plenty of teams would roll out the red carpet for them.
They are the same age as Sione, but Sione is a kid who has only ever done footy, and the Saifiti's did well enough at their HSC to get into Uni, and originally came to the club so they could attend Newcastle Uni.
I'd say Fitzgibbon, who not only went to Uni, but has completed a good degree, but that guy hangs his brain on a hanger in his locker before the game.
Connor Watson captainThis reminds me of a few years ago, after 2015 ended some of us including myself were suggesting Korbin being a good choice for captain after Gids' departure. How times have changed. Simple one for me, Buhrer, none of this under 24 captain bull. Appoint a new, young captain to lead us into the future in a couple years down the track.
No guerra has just arrived at the Knights give it to buhrer.

Not sure how Sione can or should be captain when his spot in the starting 13 looks very shaky to say the least. He isn't a back rowers a**hole in my opinion. Just gets monstered by the bigger forwards and has a terrible tackling technique.
Buhrer is the clear candidate to me. I thought he was very good for you guys when I initially did not think much of him.
Strange how Sione was the golden boy not long ago and now he's hated like a red haired stepchild.
It's especially strange because he had a good year in 2017 and had a lot to do with what we did well in attack. His defence definitely needs work (for his own preservation) but he's in our starting 13 without a doubt.
