The bench looks terrible. Jake is the only one playing firstgrade standard.
Pat and Stocky must be a chance to grab a spot if they train well enough.

It's a pity Levi will have to play 80 minutes, because he tore Canberra to pieces with his running game in the trial earlier this year when he knew he could go hard because he was only playing 40.
 
I think it might change by game day, don't know why we got away from Buhrer 9 and Levi 14 has worked a treat Sione must have failed HIA, 3 out injured from last week had to be changes I guess.

If that bench looks terrible then what would you call the bench we've been running with for the past few weeks? We've basically been running with 2 bench players (Levi & Jacob) & leaning on Daniel & Barnett to play big minutes. Stone & Yates have barely got a run & aren't props.

With 2 second-rowers on the bench, I'd say that Levi & Buhrer rotation is still planned to happen. Guess Brown didn't like the idea of Wardle or Stone starting.
 
Besides Lamb missing, its our best side on paper in weeks.

Buhrer will go to hooker when levi goes off with wardle taking Buhrer spot in the backrow.
Blind freddy can see how thats the plan.

Buhrer 9 wardle to 2rf, levi to bench is what i expect us to run out with. Paea not a bad option against a big raiders pack.

Great to see Cogger get a run. It's a pitty its not beside Lamb.
Why does Brown persist with Wardel? He is not an NRL player and he won't be here in two weeks I don't understand why he picks him every week.

Keeping the backrow strong with our best 9 starting? Seems the logical thing to do.

Spose we could have wardle start for buhrer and buhrer start for levi but that would be a worse fit yes?

We don't currently have 17 firstgrade standard players - so whatever we do is going to be a poor compromise.

Though if u cant see that putting Buhrer back to his best position to cover Sione and starting levi is a better option then using Wardle or stone to start then that'll do me.

Buhrer is going to play 60 minutes of second row and 20 minutes of hooker if he starts or doesn't start. The only difference is he will play hooker already tired if he doesn't start - which didn't work well before and won't work well now.

Crap bench, solid 13.

Wardle and Stone should count themselves lucky after last week. Pat and Stocky in the 21 is surprising. Pat's been pretty good in Cup but Stocky hasn't had a game in weeks and is out of favour.
