Agreed, a lot of teams are in line for top 8 due to the closeness of the competition and it has been shown time and time again experienced teams only need to be 5% off on any day to cop a spanking.
To be fair Brownie should be given some leeway, even though he has the staff , he is still trying to assemble the team he wants. By his own admission he is still chasing 1 marque half and 5 or 6 experienced players for padding which indicates Knights still have a fair whack of "Cap in hand" and means we still doesn't have the team he wants.
The risk is that if he tries to do it all in the small window before the next season starts with the Circumstances which have changed due to the current Cap problems some sides are speculated to be exposed to and to rush in now may mean some key players at bargain prices may slip through.
He may be in his 3rd year of coaching here but reality is he inherited a "Basket case " from those who came before him and is only just now seeing clear to turn it round in 2018.
If I was his boss I would be happy to see competitive improvement of at least mid field and the building of a team which has the right attitude building forward.
