Rumour: Knights looking at Maloney

Cogger might be able to play hooker.
Before his injury, he was the fittest player on our roster and he is looking pretty solid now.
I've seen him play hooker for Australian schoolboys and for NSW under 18s for short periods.

I was actually going to ask if he could play hooker, did he do a little stint at hooker in first grade last year when mullo and hodko were in the team?

Cogger is a half back why turn him into a hooker, we don't have enough quality half backs, if we turn him into a hooker we need to buy another half, just buy a hooker.

Heard mention at the other place he is getting itchy feet again, no links to us at all, but is he someone we'd still consider especially if Panthers picked up some freight?

Apparently Peachy is looking to backflip on the Titans (poor guys), so as he was released to free up cap space you'd have to suggest they'd need to free up some significant dollars.

Maloney would be awesome, dont think he wants to move out of Sydney and Toohey said "that ship has sailed".
Cap issues and trying to keep Peachy is probably why the Panthers are trying to offload Taumau & Merrin. They are both reported to be on 750k each. But id we got either on a reduced wage it would be good.

So are we just throwing the “no more cooling off period” rule out the window? If I were the Titans I’d hold my stance and be like nope, sit on the sidelines or play. Don’t sign the contract if you’re having withdrawals.

No the cooling off period is well & truly gone. Peachey's only option is for the Titans to agree to a release. Clubs just decide to not play hard ball to avoid all the drama.
