That match was pretty ordinary. They've got some good players but they are so down on confidence currently- playing like they just want their season to end. Hopefully they keep that up for another week at least!
 
The wests game is our chance to put a nail in their coffin as well as lift ourselves away from the wooden spoon position. A loss would be like losing our grandfinal for this year.
We should have Buhrer and Wardle available, so we can run a 4 forward bench with Buhrer filling in at hooker.
A home game with our best possible side against a decimated Tigers. Our grandfinal.
 
Tigers still have a bye up their sleeve.

So at the moment, IF we win against the dragons and pull away from them by two points. And IF we then beat the Tigers at home and put 4 points between us, they have a bye so we are really only two points in front of them.

I doubt that is going to be enough to secure us 2nd last.
 
You'd think the Tigers will surely jag at least another couple wins before the season's out, especially with guys like Tedesco. As sad as it is, I don't think winning our next 2 games guarantees us spoon deflection because with us, it's very possible we don't win another game after that, they're so hard to come by for us.
 
Actually Scaleybugs 2nd or 16th is my 'couldn't care less.'

2nd means you are just first of a poor bunch behind the Premiers.

I don't think Randell is out, but Mataora is in the 19, and I think if Brown were confident that Yates was capable of 20 minutes at hooker he would go with 4 forwards on the bench. Yates would have had to have trained the house down at hooker for that to happen though.
