Interesting article on Nick Meaney.
Says he hopes to make firstgrade.
I don't think he is signed for next year.
With Ponga coming, it's hard to see his getting a run at fullback next year.
He is tall, and we were told in the off season that he was our fastest player, although I've never seen that on the field.
He is now pretty safe under the high ball.
I'd give him time on the wing in reserve grade, to see if he is capable of playing that position, before we decide to sign him.
 
Hope it's Lillyman. Although I like Guerra it wouldn't make sense as we are we stocked in the back row. Unless Guerra plays Lock.

Tooheys info was it was a player off contract that approached the Knights (but we're doing our due diligence on them)... seeing as this rumor says we're chasing someone, it could be someone totally different, that's not necessarily off contract... just saying!
 
Current or not? Either way it's pretty intriguing to know that we've been approached and are approaching as well. Hmm...
 
Some three years ago the 'queer one' decided to try NRL with the Broncs and trained with them. He went back to his mates in the Wobblies Squad and told them 'The NRL trains harder than we play'.

And he has gone downhill since then!

My guess would be Hoffman, but he ain't a maroon.

That seems like a fair deal actually but I wouldn't go more than that.

He has regressed quite a bit the last few years but perhaps a change of club is what he needs.
