Would prefer Graham but Tolman would be a good addition to our side as gets through a lot of work and can play big minutes. hopefully a change of clubs gets him back to his 2015 form when he was averaging about 150m a game but his firm in 16/17 has still been very good avaerages over 120m a game his one player who has been very consistent in his output throughout his entire career.

Wonder what jeff Robson is doing atm,
I know his average, but does direct well and has a good kicking game.
Be worth it for the rest of this yr imo.
His injured right now and not due back for a month or so but with Parra's injury problems he will probably slip into the halves especially if takarangi is out for any length of time they might switch gutherson to the centres and robson to 5/8.

Why have all the threads moved into here?
It's very confusing to follow.
Why not just have a sub forum for rumours?
Come on mods!!

There is an explanation that was posted last night, It can be found here

Sorry you don't like it mate, If you have any further feedback please post it in the thread above

Tolman has a great work rate, take him any day. Much better than Vete or the other fringe scrubs I see being mentioned.

It sucks that the Dogs will only have to lose their third best middle forward and replace him with a NSW/Aus front rower, but that's the NRL I guess.

You can read whatever you want into stats. Tolman might be workhorse but he's no threat whatsoever to anyone. I watch the Bulldogs/Tolman and the first thing that comes to mind is "pedestrian". Better than what we got possibly. Difference to results no way.

Well I'm still optimistic about a big signing. Something has stalled all the cards from falling and I'd say we have some involvement in it.

I'm just dirty that our Club has sunk so far into the mire that signing a hardworking toiler is cork popping stuff.

Honestly they are bloody props what are some
People expecting from them. Do the hard yards. I would take a front row of hard workers ie Tolman any day.

id do anything to sign Tolman. Might not have that fear factor about him but he is a hard working 60 minute 45+ tackles per game prop. What else could you really want?

It's been that way fir a long time now if not always who are the real match winners we have signed in our history from other clubs Sargent, BK, Boyd( even thou he never performed here) maybe Beau Scott. We have signed some young players who became match winners or rep quality players like Hagan, O'Davis, Mad Dog, hopefully Ponga and Gagai are in that category one day. For the most part we have produced our own match winners thou and signed players to complement those players so I don't think chasing a workrate forward is any different than what we have been doing for the last 30 years.

4. Pete

yep, Problem is who is available thats worth going for. No point dropping Hodko if we dont have a replacement. If we fail to get one then we are back to where we are now.
