Evan Cochrane
I would like to see him stay, but he certainly has his work cut out for him to earn a spot next year!
He is a solid first grader when at his best, but at what other teams is he an automatic selection????

Could it have been Moga didn't meld with Ross, two sides to every story
Ross doesn't want to leave, but is looking. As a club it is not beneficial to the overall culture to keep players who are not willing to compete for their position! Good luck to Rossy, but taking the easy option is probably best for him and the club.
Either way, Moga coming to the team really needed to be the one to gel in my opinion. But in either case, I'm yet to be convinced by Moga at all, seems the type of centre that the ball stops at every time with little thought to set his winger up for the try. Strikes me as a selfish player.
But this thread isn't about Moga.

Knights looking to offload cult hero
Newcastle are trying to offload cult hero Nathan Ross for next season.
Ross had a disappointing year in 2018, with injury restricting him to 15 games and just two tries.
But that was in sharp contrast to the previous two seasons, when he scored 19 tries in a struggling Knights team, winning the hearts and minds of the fans.
Ross has just undergone major surgery to rectify groin and hernia issues that held him back this year and the Knights have told rival NRL clubs and English teams that he is available for 2019 despite having two years to run on his contract.
At 29, Ross still has plenty of good football in him once he regains full fitness and his versatility - he can play fullback, wing and centre - should see him get a contract.
