cowboyman
Danny 'Bedsy' Buderus
Klemmer isn't available
Same way Holmes isn’t available to the Cowboys right now. Get 3rd party in his ear and things will change quickly.
Contracts mean nothing these days.

The young man is worth at least 350k and with the potential ahead id offer the twins a package deal of 5mil over 5-6yrs
I'd be happy to offer dan at least 1/2 of 5 mil over 5-6 years. I'd want to see Jacob have an injury free season before I'd be throwing that sort of money at him. I guess after the matautia brothers I'm a bit hesitant of having 'package' deals.Dan could do a Klemmer atm, ask for a pay rise or im leaving.

I understand that people making up **** about me and slagging off at me gets very old, very fast.I understand that Billy believes we have a nursery full of "potential stars" but unfortunately stars are only made in our imaginations , in a real world they need to carved there reputation in" the heat of battle" out of blood , sweat and experience.
If dan was on the market at the moment he would command at least $400,000 a season personally if there was another fan available I would offer more.
Billy, I am not slagging you or making anything up about you - you have been pushing our “youth nursery” for ages and I agree there should be more done to give them an incentive based pathway.I understand that people making up **** about me and slagging off at me gets very old, very fast.
I personally think he is worth at least $500,000 the reason I said $400000 is he doesn't seem to get as much of a wrap outside of newcastle. I rate him as one of the best young props in the game .I think he'd get way over 500k atm, 22yrs old in the worst team in the comp and still managed numbers any prop would happy take

A lot of people are going to be rolling around in a puddle of their own tears by the end of the year when we get none of these blokes, and then the “what if?” is going to be thrown around something deluxe. Fact of the matter is, we need to be chasing the players we need no matter the sum. TPJ is the only decent talent available at this stage and until such time as other players get cold feet/become available we can’t do much else. The club/Browny/most of the NRL obviously see something in the guy enough to want to chase him hard and I trust their judgement enough from what I’ve seen of our recruits from this year.
I’m just sayin’... if we want to be in the finals that isWould rather hang onto the money than waste it.
I'd be cautious wrapping the twins up long term as a package at least.
But I agree they should be on a bit more than they are at the moment. Especially Dan.

Cause believe it or not the jump from being a junior Star to holding your own in Reggie’s is beyond most candidates let alone the quantum leap into NRL , there are thousands of 20 year old “regional Stars “ around the country (every team has one stand out) and maybe one has the full package to make it- there is Skill, Talent, physical and mental aspects in association with attitude and application but the real test is how they react to adversity, specifically injury and criticism of performance.
How do you identify the individuals who should be invested in? as they all evolve at different times and periods.
Forget Knights for a moment and look at another single NRL region like say the Cowboys who have missed some real Stars to other Clubs. The obvious ones are Ponga, Homes , DCE, Munster, Guerra, Thaiday and then there are other current NRL players like Nene, Kurt Mann, Ryhse Martin , Segyaro, question is would say a Club like Broncos have
1. Identified
2. Developed
3. Retained
This talent base.
Now how do we approach the same situation and have we learnt anything ?
How you're saying it though implies that Billy thinks we shouldn't sign any senior forwards whatsoever because we have all these stars in the juniors that don't need any help. He's got some strong opinions, but his views aren't that extreme.
