Off contract options

I agre that Ryan Hall on a 2 year deal might be ok he is a big boy and knows how to score a try or two ...Mortimer wouldn't be too bad as a back up as well ...

Ever since we signed Brian Carney for a year in 2006 as a stop gap all our ESL signings have been a bit ordinary from memory. I'm sure someone can compile a list.

Excluding the ones that were originally from the NRL then came back.

When the saf boys stop thinking they will hurt people and just do it. They'll instantly become better players.

I feel the same way that they dont want to hurt anyone , in saying that i thought d saf showed good aggression when he played last agsinst the eels. Looking forward to seeing what he brings tonight.

We have too many small forwards imo we need at least 1 more monster with agro a Klemmer or Fifita or Kapow. Daniel and Jacob are going to be good players but they just don't seem to have that agro that those 3 have and imo that's what we need .

Start making some calls than mate, let browny and Mooney know what you have found for them.

That's the problem mate hey we need a couple of big aggressive props but there's none to be had at the moment but hopefully by the start of the pre season there will be …

Nothing to see here with the salary cap. NRL happy with the state of play and turn a blind eye to the rorting.

It is a bigger issue for them to admit it isn't working and fix it, than to just let it continue under the guise of bringing money to the game and pitiful excuses like players sign with a club for hundreds of thousand less because of a coach etc.

Payne Haas just signed a 4 year/3m deal. So now the Broncos still have to juggle keeping Oates/Isaako/Lodge/TPJ amongst others. Korbin Sims leaving clearly freed up all that cap space!

Hopefully they have to shead some other players to keep Haas.

If we're lucky we will get one of them.

The NRL website has said it is a 6 year/3M deal.

The same article says Fifita is already signed until the end of 2020.

Didnt korbin sign for 200k? Pretty sure that was the number being tossed about at the time

Yeah whoever published it made a mistake and must have fixed it by now, my bad. It’s actually a tad over 500k per year which isn’t bad when you consider we paid ese ese less then that and he’s been better so far.

Sims I am not sure but that first year was the ridiculous 85k which is probably all he has been worth to date. Not sure how much he signed for after that.

I heard Lodge inked a two year deal you’d imagine effectively that’s a direct swap in for Sims. With those other guys left to sign and Pangai asking for 600k. Interesting juggling act

Expect to see TPJ in a new Audi RS4 and only on 300k in the near future in Brisbane.

Thats how the Broncos will keep him

I remember when Holden had something to do with Brisbane, I turned up to a training session seeing Carlaw, Parker, Hunt, Hodges etc all going to their SS commodores after training haha

I think Roberts is the answer, as Longas he’s happy to play 14 and step into the halves if needed.
