Grant was never set in stone, only a possibility. Didn’t sound like he was getting a release anyway and probably wouldn’t move up here as a stop gap.

Double bugger. That's two signings we have missed out on today.

Gone home to play reserves, no moving house/home or upsetting anyone with only 1-2 years in his footie left, would have helped us but not much better than what we have, is a understandable move, Penrith have a strong pack.

Throw the cheque book at Klemmer would love to get him here but if it doesn't happen then im not too worried there will be a lot of player movement in the off season we will pick up some props then ...If what Mason says is true that some players at the Cowboys have said that Green has lost the whole playing group up there then if he doesn't go there could be a few good players wanting out from there soon ...

I hope browny is on the phone to klemmers manager sounds like he is getting over the **** at the dogs

Klemmer doesn't want to leave, just taking the selfless approach by saying if the Dogs asked him to leave for the better of the club, it would be tough but he would have to consider it. Thing is, he is probably one of the last guys they tap on the shoulder.

The amount of times we have heard a player isn't going anywhere or being shopped around...

Kind of like when a coach has the full support of the board...

Makes you wonder what Taumalolo thinks of his long term deal now. Thurston retiring, potential coach upheaval. Likely to spend a fair few years out of contention.

I love hearing that endorsement.

Comments from Gould that Griffin has the support of the board should mean he'll be given his marching orders by 2019, regardless of how well the Panthers perform this year.

Probably laughing all the way to the bank...

Mason is talking utter sh*t to be relevant again. Doesn’t even know Green but quoted as saying “I can honestly say if I was getting coached by Paul Green I wouldn’t give a s***, I wouldn’t play for him,” he said.... Basically sums up why he spent time at so many clubs. He is a cancer.

All he is saying is I heard and I think this that and the other. He has nothing to go off of.

The knives are out on the Cowboys and rightly so they have been terrible but to go off of what Mason says... laughable.

Got to the GF without JT already... with his money we can buy quality. Don’t know how without him we won’t be in contention for a “fair few years”

Morgan bicep injury is a blessing in disguise. Been playing all year with a groin and abdomin injury so he can heal and rest up for next season. He will lead us like he did in 2017.

At the end of the day the vast majority of players are either mercenaries or forced out of Clubs by coaches. Very few are one Club men.

Completely agree still make the call

Similar reasons to why Stone tapped him on the shoulder in 2014-15

Reminds of of our Kieran Foran Forum, based off something Matty Johns said

Anyway I read today Valentine Holmes is open to going north there in 2020. Considering Green will still be there then I doubt any concerns are warranted. It did seem different though compared to when Neil Henry was there (similar to his time at the Titans)
