Not 1 team in the NRL wouldn't take a shot at Sonny Bill Williams if he said he was coming back and just like Folau he is one of the best.. Folau would be great for us imo him and Ramien at centre would fix all our problems out wide in attack and defence...I think we would be nuts not to have a shot at him and i would take him over Chambers Morris or Reed every day he is the best in rugby and when in the nrl would make those guys look ordinary ..
 
He'll attract offers of 1mil+, I can't see him repaying that worth as a centre. As a fullback, possibly. If you could somehow take 4-500k off his asking price, then he'd be a brilliant signing for centre.

The only centre worth throwing the bank at would be Croker, and there's no chances of prying him away from Canberra.

Without even stepping on the pitch I would think Folau would be a fair price at $500k with performance-based incentives.
Wouldn't want him at anything above $700k unless he plays the house down.

Someone will cough up that coin though, he'll get what he wants. Expect the best Sydney-based options would be the Bunnies or Dragons.
 
As good as he is, his assumed massive price tag is a turn off for a centre position.
I can seem him going to the raiders when they punt Wighton.
 
I would say he would pay for himself in third party payments so he would be almost free, but he seems to have successfully trashed his own brand, so no way would he be worth a million of our cap space, even if he could get back to near his best.

From my understanding his dad basically got into his ear about the money and the usual stuff that goes with spreading the money throughout family and the church. It seems like he’s gotten better at that and basically had enough of afl so went back to union. I don’t think he had any interest in going and it was solely about the money while gws were rubbish

Where do you get the idea he cant defend from . Also where does this Million dollar thing come from i haven't read anything that says what he would be on for sure .
 
He went to AFL for a million+, he went to Union for a million+, he would get a million+ to play Union in France or Japan.
A million is where the bidding starts.
