We have enough guys that are already in that "fringe" area of the roster.
We need game breaking signings now.
 
My reply wasn’t that we should chase him. I never alluded to that once. It was more in response to him not even being worth $100K. That’s bogus. He’s easily worth $100K as he’s a top 21 player at the very least. Right now, he’s proving to be a top 17 player (bench backrower) and showed last year that he could hold his own starting if need be. He can be a handful at times and create an impact.

All in all, he’s an ok first grader and nice depth. That’s worth more than $100K in today’s NRL.

And my response is based on the knights roster and that alone.
So for the knights roster, i dont see a need for him at all, not even for 100k.
 
I really like TPJ and being a Newy boy I’d love to see him back here, but it seems he might be asking for too much than what Brown / Mooney are happy to pay.

With Sharks, Broncos and Roosters in the hunt also I have a feeling we will wait and watch how the cards fall and wait for a good deal. Much like how the whole Pearce thing worked out.

If anyone can come up with the money to get him out of Brissy it’s uncle Nick, so Napa might end up on the market and we might start to see a ‘merry go round’ like last year.

As for Broncos they’ve got their two best young props off contract at the same time big chance they’ll lose one at least. Uncle Wayne making a lot of errors with his cap now he is playing to the rules
 
Brisbane's cap is in massive trouble and Wayne will be gone at the end of this year and say it wasn't his fault lol.
They have;
Boyd 1mil
Milf 1mil
Bird 1mil (so glad we didnt get him)
Gillette 800k
All massively under performing for that money. I cant see them being able to afford to keep their props next year.

I think Milford has been alright probably one of the reasons why they have been in their games and won some but agree with the others.

Pangai coming out and asking for $600k is worse for the broncos then it is for other clubs.
But didn’t the dragons basically buy Vaughn on a risky $600k deal and that seemed to work out ok for them.

Milf is worth 500k tops at the moment. Hasn't done much since 2015, is being forced into a role he isn't suited for, but worst of all, he just looks like a disinterested player. Doesn't look to have any fire in the belly. For 1 million dollars, he needs to be the developed, mature version of the Milf that was at Canberra.
 
Yeah surely it is a matter of time before Boyd is moved at 5/8 and Milford goes back to fullback
 
The problem lies within the halves. The are both runners and play off the cuff. You need structure or an organiser to tell who's running when and where every single play.

2 of those guys played for Australia in they're younger days so if we can get Lane for small money and he does what they did at the same age id be very happy and he has played well enough to get a bench spot so far this season and ive watched him and he is playing well ...
