Official: Jack Cogger signs with the Bulldogs

Imo the Bulldogs have had great players for the last 10 years. But they've never had a half that can deliver those players quality ball.
A combination of Cogger/Foran could be all they need.

Player contacts should be accessible by request for board members of all NRL club's. Oversight is best undertaken by those invested in fairness--your opponent's

Truth be told, the public could guess to within 10-20% degree of accuracy the value of player contracts, anyway. So there isn't much to lose. Although, it is unfair for players to have the specifics of their personal income made available to broader public as it exposes players to the potential nefarious motives of who knows

Nah, knowing a specific number does not open them up to anything they are not already open to. Knowing a player is on 500k or 800k , or a mill a year isn't going to change that.

It would put some transparency back in to the cap and competition though. You would have to give clubs a few years warning though I think to let them sort their cap out, as in what players they are paying bugger all on the cap, but 3rd party payments making up the difference.

They could well be a better combo than Pearce/Lamb.... ?

Agree

If Cogger is fully fit now, he could be the bargain buy for this year.
If his injury means he never gets his zip back, he'll probably struggle to make the NRL.

Looks like the club's decision to hold Cogger for 2018 could cost him his spot at the Dogs

Canterbury are reportedly now in talks with Aiden Cesar

I wonder who Canberra will look to as a replacement.. Lamb?

Does it say much for Lamb that the Dogs are chasing Cogger instead of him?

Looks like they have the funds for Lamb if they are confident of being able to fit Sezer in should that opportunity arise so why aren't the dogs trying to snare Lamb instead? He is supposed to be this quality ball playing kicking half according to several on here...

Food for thought.

Personally ive always thought Sezer was overrated. His poise was impressive when first hit grade at the GC. But his game is very standard and not all that effective imo

Sticky is probably happy to see him go as he knows he needs something else from his spine if he is to win a premiership with his current squad

I cant see Cogger being the man to fill that hole. Lamb on the other hand could be
