Michael Jennings

Naden is an impressive looking unit.
I have no idea how he goes, but he will have a chance to grab a centre spot in the trials and he is a big, athletic looking unit.

I had hoped the days of turnstiles in the centres were over. Still dreaming of Josh Morris.

Who is the turnstile? Moga is a decent defender.. And Sione made 30-40 good tackles a game from the backrow last year

I think we'll be fine

Everyone is so quick to forget Sione is the same age as blokes like King, Dennis, Stone etc. Point being, he is still very young and still learning. Since he debuted he's played 4 different positions in 4 years and hasnt really had a crack at centre since he was 18/19

I think everyone needs to give the 21 year old captain and youngest ever Kangaroo at least a season in the centres to see how he fairs, before completely throwing him out

I see that he has deficiencies in his game, seemingly physical ones, like Lamb, but he is so young. Just give him 2018 to prove himself in the centres

Except the high amount of missed tackles from him at back row...

Centre in arguebly the hardest position to defend so he will have to improve alot in technique and decision making.

I’d like to see you run at Sione. I doubt you’d be calling him a turnstile afterwards.

If I was 110kg of solid muscle with a good fend and side-step it'd be a fairer statement. For any average Joe it'd be a different story.

Although he's keen on a Dragons comeback, I wonder whether Choc's spoken with Brown lately...

NRL Confidential: Anthony Mundine’s NRL comeback still on, Knights’ stunning gift to fan

COLOURFUL character Anthony Mundine isn’t giving up hope of returning to top flight rugby league again at some stage.

The 42-year-old league star-turned boxer has long spoken of his desire to return to the NRL, singling out St George Illawarra as his club of choice if he was to make a comeback.

It’s unlikely to actually happen, but the man called Choc refuses to let the dream die.

“It could be, you don’t know. Anything is possible with me,” he told Fox Sports News.

“I feel that good I could do anything.”

For now, Mundine is focused on extending his boxing career by one more fight.

He’s hoping to get back in the ring with old foe Danny Green, or Australia’s world champion newbie Jeff Horn in the coming 12 months.

He says he’ll retire from the sport at the end of next year unless he gets an offer for a big fight.

“One more year (in the ring) ... one more year unless everything goes to plan and I get a massive fight in 2019. That’s the only reason I’d stay on,” Mundine said.

“Otherwise next year is my final year.”

Sione gets a season at centre, but we dont give watson the same time to get it right?

The bloke who missed 10 tackles in a game this year.

Blindly cherry picking anomalous data from Stats isn't a good argument

Sione has a similar problem to what Kurt Gidley had, in that his missed tackles were more often a product of the failure of the people around him than they are a failure of the individual. Sione doesn't slip off or miss tackles that should have been made, and he very rarely if ever misses tackles that needed to be made.

And it's the latter point in that sentence which counts imo

You can count on one hand the amount of missed tackles from Sione that have lead to points in 4 years. And yet, you couldn't count on one hand the amount of missed tackles that lead to points from Gagai inside of a fortnight

He was supposed to be in the top 5 backrowers in the comp by the end of the last season in your prediction and now you're saying he deserves a year in centres... How long does he get to finally be able to cement his spot in the FG side in the one position?

If only Watson got as much leway as Sione is seeming to get with you.

Sione doesn't slip off or miss tackles that should have been made,

He does all the time when he goes high. At centre he regularly made poor reads or was beaten on the outside.

If Sione can't play in the forwards because of concussions, and we sign Jennings, where does he end up?

Lol wtf is this?
Late contender for the biggest wtf post of 2017.

Running out of the line like an idiot, good to see his brother Pete didn't have a mortgage on it, though it did cost Pete his NRL career by leaving 20 metres of open space on a regular basis.

Probably cost Uate his Knights career when he was often left 4/1 with no one within shouting distance of him. - Then he'd cop flack for rushing in to try to cut off the center.

My apologies lads. I'll go tell COACH BROWN that the bloke he selected as captain at just 21 years of age is a redundant figure in the team.

He'll say: "why is that?"

I'll say: "because there is this group of consumate footballing professionals on the Knights forum who, in all of their infinite wisdom, have said once and for all that they know best

He'll say: "that's a fair and reasonable perspective for them to take, considering the intimate insight they have, working closely with the squad on a daily basis"

I have better luck picking the Powerball numbers than Browny picking a captain lol

Nobody is saying their a coach we are voicing our opinions.

Nobody here thinks our thoughts will have an affect on the club you realise?

PS - Wrestling is fake, while I am explaining facts of life to you.

Wait, so are we fake wrestling, or are you explaining facts. Because by definition one fantasy and the other is real..
