Fairly weak bait but no where did I say there that we had a gun half coming through. Main guy I was referring to was Enari Tuala who if he didn't get injured would be first centre picked for team of the year.

Murray Tualagi is also a handy prospect seeing as though he hadn't played league until signing for the Cowboys this year. He has now picked up a first grade contract for next year.

The whole back 5 have been in amazing form the last 3 weeks. Possibly the best back 5 in the comp.

Ponga probably won't play unless it's fullback. Green has said that throughout the whole time. Though we are running extremely low on troops so he may find himself on the wing if Coote is fit to play.
 
I see the Courier Mail saying Ponga will go to Union instead of coming here. They give the DT a run for their money as far as spouting absolute ******** goes.

To be fair I can see him going to union next contract but will see out his Knights contract.

The all blacks is a massive pull for him and he was tempted to switch to union the last 2 contracts signed.
 
It wouldn't be the end of the world if Ponga walked.
We have Ross, Phythian, Watson, Meaney and even young Coops and Tex Hoy who are all showing a lot of promise as fullbacks, so we should be able to cover fullback, an his money could be spent on one of the forwards we need.

Not a team on the slide. If we had 17 fit players by the end of 80 minutes these last 2 weeks we would of won both games in my opinion.
 
I thought they would use him in attack as a fullback at least, have cootes skills in D and Pongas flash in attack mite get u over the line

Agree cowboys forwards are sensational, but lacking that spark or last tackle finese needed to score or sustain pressure... shame i really like watching the cowboys play
