Official: Dane Gagai leaving the Knights

Guys to the players this is a business and they are certainly entitled to chase as much dinero from their short career as is humanly possible and of this involves moving from Club to Club, so be it. For mine everything Gags gas dione atb this Club gas been honourable and his very best effort.

He should've left when Bennett first tried to get him back to the Donkeys.
Even though he's an origin player, he should've done and archived a lot more.
I think many people forget he was regarded as the best talent coming through the Donkeys ranks which included the likes of Hunt, Norman, McCullough and co.
Hopefully he can fulfil his talent at Souths and not go down as another Mullen; wasted talent and career.

From an on field perspective it's not as big of a loss as some are saying. From a PR perspective it's a disaster. Oh well, onwards and upwards!

Any PR problem his leaving causes will be countered as soon as we spend 600k or more on an equivalent talent - hopefully in a position that will be more influential on the field.
We are all frustrated now, but we'll get over it pretty quick when 4 million dollars worth of forward and spine talent walks through the door.

Ahhh drugs? I'm sure they have but in recent times rochow leaving he mentioned he wanted to challenge himself yada yada yada.

That's working out well for him, doubt he will get much of a contract next year.

Apparently Dane leaving the Knights is shattering, according to Hages.

It makes you wonder what the NRL think sometimes. Here they are trying their hardest to sell the club. You would think that would involve painting Newcastle in as good a light as possible.

I mean you don't advertise a house for sale saying, Poky home near loud pub, leaking roof and occasionally rumbles when a train goes by out back.

So to get a story going, they run out and interview Hages who clearly is cheesed off with us and takes every chance he can to put the boot in via the press.
