Sorry @rhugh89 -was typing as you were updating that! 65m in 18 mins is pretty good to be fair. They get the win- Rossy and Pauli come back with some confidence- play Pauli off the bench this week for sure..

He made 10.7m per run which is good...
As ive said many times already, start the twins in the front row with Pauli at lock.
If we cant get momentum then we mite as well pack up shop.

I'd say we could afford to carry Pauli on the bench if we still had Barnett and Buhrer doing a heap of work, but we can't carry any 20 minute impact forwards now. We can't go 80 minutes with the forwards we have - let alone with a half fit Pauli as well.

Yeah bring him on when where already on the back foot and defending... thats how to get the most out of big bodies.... :brickwall:
Starting might reduce his effectiveness though as teams are a lot more intense and physical in the first 20 minutes. Having a rampaging Pauli at the back end of halves with a tired opposition could cause more havoc.

Both points are valid though

True true,

I just feel having D Saifiti tk1 j Saifiti tk2 Pauli tk3 is going to be hard to handle for any team and i feel where better to try get momentum early and a lead then chasing our tail.

It would also be good if we didn't opt for 2 all the time when we start strong and are well on top.

I don't even know if Pauli got 10 minutes in his first stint, they were defending for most of the time too. Had a decent second stint though. Ross was solid, didn't overplay his hand which I thought he might have on the rep stage.

the article didn't say, but I read the other day that Daniel Abraham would play his first game back from a long injury layoff for Macquarie in this game.

Ok. Call me a crazy knights fan (DISCLAIMER. I AM) But I do think Ross defended himself into genuine origin bolter contention today.
Hearing Fittler talk about him- I just think his attitude (for a team that needs attitude) could be invaluable? He didn't put a foot wrong- ran over 100 and country sent all their attack to that wing and he was solid....

Dare to dream for the Ross-dawg?

No chance.. would be great for the game though... great story!! Can see him writing a book in the near future.
