I hope this isn't true. We don't need second tier players we have enough. Let's wait for the superstar to come on the market and pick them up, stop wasting money please !!!

The policy makes sense. It is designed to stamp out any advantage rich clubs stand to gain by affording huge transfer demands from the ESL, while also killing off any chance of it becoming standard operation in the NRL

It also teaches star players not to leave the NRL should they have any intention of returning inside of the term of their contract overseas, as it will cost them money from their own pocket

Pretty sensible well thought through policy from the NRL

Regardless who the ESL player may be, he would take a couple of months at least to get to the NRL fitness level. And our hard grounds add to the learning curve and leg injuries.

Anyone play on hard grounds? Boy Guyra Show Ground was tough in Group 15, and Glen Innes not far behind it. Both used for cattle and sheep shows and the ground becomes very compacted.

Well ryanberger was the only one who believed his 'hot' report. They were never considering it. Ponga will be a much better signing and not that much dearer.

Townson oval and passmore oval i found hard.

Coronation oval is the hardest I've ever played on followed by John's oval at kurri. Mount view was littered with glass last time I was there. Had a 20kg bucket full before I got to halfway. Softest would be McDonald jones then suncorp.

Asquith magpies home ground was chit house, use to have a concrete pitch covered by fake grass!! Bark missing every time u hit the ground.
followed by guilford... wasnt hard but u could lose a leg as u run up field like u got tackled by a croc.
